Cavalli College is proud to announce an exciting new Guaranteed Credit Agreement with the University of Waikato to support our learners with a clear and structured pathway into university study.
This agreement creates a direct pathway into the final year of the Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood), building upon the first two years of study into further academic opportunities and professional advancement opportunities for our graduates.
From Diploma to Degree – A Purpose Built Pathway for our Learners
Learners who successfully complete both the New Zealand Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 5) and New Zealand Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 6) at Cavalli College, and meet Bachelor of Teaching entry requirements, will receive 240 points of credit toward the 360-point Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) degree.
This means eligible graduates will enter directly into Year Three of the Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) at the University of Waikato.
This is more than credit recognition, it’s a significant opportunity for students to bridge into university study and progress towards a qualification leading to provisional certification with the Teaching Council or Aotearoa New Zealand.
