Lecturer – Early Childhood Teacher Education

We’re seeking an inspiring and qualified Lecturer in Early Childhood Teacher Education to lead and support the delivery of our NZQA-approved Level 5 and Level 6 ECE Diplomas, and to play a key role in the development of higher-level programmes.

This is a dynamic, full-time role combining teaching, learner support, academic quality assurance, and programme development—alongside opportunities to contribute to research, sector collaboration, and community engagement.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Current New Zealand Teaching Council registration (full or provisional)
  • A Postgraduate Diploma or higher qualification in Education, preferably in Early Childhood Education
  • Proven experience in tertiary-level teaching, assessment, and content development
  • Experience teaching in ECE settings in Aotearoa New Zealand
  • Strong knowledge of the Teaching Council of New Zealand’s Professional Teaching Standards
  • Experience in or commitment to research activity and academic development
  • A Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Teaching
  • Experience in pastoral and academic support of students – tracking their progress and providing support as needed
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a learner-focused and culturally responsive approach
  • A full, clean driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required

Student Enrolment Advisor

We are looking for a proactive and people-focused Enrolments Officer to support student recruitment and enrolment across our nationwide programmes. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for learners—guiding them through the application and enrolment journey with care and clarity. You will play a key part in marketing and promotional activity, helping to grow awareness of our programmes and ensure that more learners can access Cavalli College learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support learners through the end-to-end enrolment process
  • Lead domestic student recruitment and promotional outreach
  • Build and maintain sector relationships through proactive outreach and regular engagement
  • Represent Cavalli College at events, trade stands, and sector meetings
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure timely, effective communication
  • Maintain accurate student records and recruitment reporting
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives and material development

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in student recruitment and community engagement
  • Experience using student management systems, confident in administration and data entry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A learner-centred mindset with a focus on relationship building
  • A full, clean driver’s licence and willingness to travel
