Cavalli College is pleased to announce that it has received approval to deliver the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Peer Support) (Level 4) nationwide, enabling learners across Aotearoa New Zealand to access formal peer support training within their own communities.
This approval represents an important step in strengthening the peer support workforce nationally. By extending delivery beyond previous regional boundaries, Cavalli College can now provide greater access to training for individuals in smaller and rural communities where local study options have been limited.
The Level 4 Peer Support programme equips learners to draw on their lived experience in a structured, ethical and professional way. Graduates develop the knowledge, practical skills and reflective capability required to support others on their recovery journey across a range of community and health settings.
Nationwide delivery enables learners to gain recognised qualifications while remaining within their local communities. This approach strengthens regional workforce capability and supports sustainable, locally delivered peer support services.
Cavalli College looks forward to working alongside sector partners, community organisations and employers across the country to continue building peer support capability and expanding access to high-quality training.
Join Cavalli College in turning lived experience into lasting impact, because the journey to recovery is stronger when shared.
