Cavalli College Receives Highly Commended Recognition at the 2026 ITENZ Awards

Cavalli College is proud to have received Highly Commended in the Provider of the Year Award, presented by Public Trust, at the 2026 Independent Tertiary Education New Zealand (ITENZ) Awards.

The Provider of the Year Award recognises organisations demonstrating excellence in organisational capability and strategic leadership, while creating a positive impact for learners, staff, communities and the wider education sector.
Receiving Highly Commended is a significant achievement for Cavalli College and reflects the College’s commitment to high-quality education, exceptional learner support and sector-relevant programmes that prepare people to make a difference in their communities.

Cavalli College General Manager Nicole Robins said the recognition belongs to the wider Cavalli community.

“This recognition reflects the passion, commitment and hard work of our staff, learners, partners and stakeholders who share our vision of creating meaningful educational opportunities that change lives. We are honoured to be acknowledged alongside some of New Zealand’s leading independent tertiary education providers.”

Over the past year, Cavalli College has continued to strengthen its work across the Early Childhood Education and Health and Wellbeing sectors, developing programmes and pathways in response to the needs of the sectors and communities it serves.
At the heart of this work is a commitment to outstanding teaching and learning, individual learner care, and ensuring programmes remain relevant and responsive to the sectors they serve.

“We are incredibly proud of what our team and learners have achieved together,” says Robins. “This recognition encourages us to keep listening to our sectors, supporting our learners and looking for ways education can make a genuine difference in our communities.”

Cavalli College congratulates all finalists and winners recognised at the 2026 ITENZ Awards and thanks Independent Tertiary Education New Zealand and Public Trust for celebrating excellence across New Zealand’s independent tertiary education sector.
