Modes of Learning

Cavalli College currently offers two modes of learning, depending on the programme you choose. Most of our programmes are delivered through a Workplace Learning (Blended) mode. The exception is the New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills (Level 2), which is delivered fully online (Distance Learning) in accordance with the qualification’s requirements.

Workplace Learning (Blended)

Workplace Learning (Blended) is conducted through the workplace and the Cavalli College learning management system. Learners complete the applied practice hours required by the New Zealand qualification in which they are enrolled. The workplace will provide support to assess learners on their practice.

Online Learning (Distance)

Learning is conducted online through the learning management system.  Courses have practical components that require the student to merge practice and theory in their study. Employers may be involved in assessment of learners but their involvement is not a requirement of the mode of study.  Learners gain practical skills and are evaluated by their Cavalli College tutors.
